Note
Place of publication from Wing.
Note
In this edition, line 7 of title ends: answere; sig. B1r, line 5 ends: "that"; and sig. D2r, line 5 begins: "heape fagot upon fagot,". In another edition (Wing F880) line 7 of title ends: answer; with the other leaves in variant states.
Note
A variant state of D2r is missigned "D3" and line 5 begins "keepe".
Note
The author's surname in the title is set with a regular italic "I" (FIENNES). A variant has a swash italic "I" (which could be read as "J").
Note
The last three letters in "Honourable" in the title shift downward in some copies, either slightly or considerably; it appears to be slippage during printing rather than a variant in setting. Other aspects of the title-page setting do not vary among these copies (except for the version of italic "I" in the author's name).
Note
Signatures: A-D⁴.
Note
Last leaf is blank.
Note
Title page has simple border of single rules.
