17th-century mottled brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; blind fillets forming two rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at inner and outer corners; gilt roll around board edges; spine with four raised bands and blind fillets; text block edges sprinkled red and brown; leather spine title label with "Religious Tracts”; evidence of previous stab stitching.
