18th-century sprinkled and mottled brown calf (partially stained a darker brown) over boards; blind rolls and fillets forming three concentric rectangular frames on boards, in "Cambridge panel design", with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; spine with six raised bands and gilt tooling; spine label with "Horatius"; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
