Late 17th-century mottled brown calf; sewn on five supports; blind fillets and rolls forming two concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at outer corners of inner frame, and with additional vertical blind roll at spine edge; spine with five raised bands, blind fillets and blind stamps; leather spine label with "Political Tracts"; text block edges sprinkled red; evidence of chain plate at fore-edge of lower board; two leaves of blank paper are bound between each item; items show evidence of previous stab stitching.

This appears to be a variant of ESTC R27935, with the following differences: in the imprint, the publisher's name is spelled "Lownds" rather than "Lowndes"; in the title, there is a full stop after "Parliament" in line 4, and a full stop instead of a comma after "thereunto" in line 6.
