Title

A religious and worthy speech spoken by Mr. Rouse in Parliament. : Concerning the goods, libertjes, and lives, of his Majesties subjects. Laying open, the paintings that are used by the whore of Rome, and Arminianisme amongst us, to draw the people thereby to idolatry. Later 17th-century mottled brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; boards decorated with blind fillets forming a rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, with blind stamps at inner corners; spine with four raised bands, and blind fillets and rolls; text block edges sprinkled red and blue; spine label with title “Religious Tracts”; date “1641” in gilt at tail of spine; leaves of blank paper bound between some items; evidence of stab stitching on some items.
