17th-century brown calf over paper boards; rebacked and repaired. Blind fillets forming rectangular frame with additional vertical fillets towards spine edge; smooth spine (rebacked).

A Latin verse to the reader is written on upper endleaf in an early hand (late 17th-century?); a summary of the Ten commandments is written in the same hand on the verso of leaf A1, dated "Aug: 14: 81" (probably 14 August 1681).
