17th-century dark brown sheepskin over paper boards; sewn on three tawed leather supports; boards decorated with blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, with additional vertical blind fillet towards spine; smooth spine with blind and gilt fillets; text block edges sprinkled red; date 1669 in gilt on spine.
