The unpaginated portion (leaves 3-8 of gathering Lll, gatherings Mmm-Zzz, Aaaa-Dddd, and the first four leaves of gathering Eeee) consists of the New Testament. It appears to be the same as the New Testament portion of ESTC R23801 (The Holy Bible containing the Old Testament and the New. ... London : printed by the assigns of John Bill deceas'd and by Henry Hills, and Thomas Newcomb, printers to the Kings most Excellent Majesty, MDCLXXXII). The paginated portion (leaves 5-8 of gathering Eeee, and gatherings Ffff-Kkkk) is imperfect, wanting all following leaf Kkkk7. It consists of hymns and prayers, and the psalms.

Salisbury Cathedral Library bookplate (20th century) with design based on the Dean and Chapter seal, and inscription “Sarvm Cathedral Library.” On the bookplate is the inscription: "The gift of Miss A. L. Mixer Mus Bac. 8 Nov. 1930".

19th-century brown calf; blind fillets forming two concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind fleuron stamps at corners; additional blind fillets on boards; spine with five raised bands and blind fillets and rolls; blind roll around board edges and on turn-ins; text block edges stained red; marbled endleaves; blue ribbon bookmark; single clasp at centre of fore-edge.
