17th-century brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; blind fillets forming two rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at inner and outer corners; blind roll around board edges; spine with four raised bands and horizontal blind fillets and rolls; text block edges sprinkled red and brown; leather spine title label with "Religious Tracts”; “1587” in gilt at tail of spine; evidence of previous stab stitching.
