19th-century brown quarter calf; boards covered with parchment; blind roll along edge of leather (where it meets the parchment); spine with four flat raised bands and blind rolls; text block edges stained red; title: "Breviarum seu Portiforium Saresburiens Pars Hyemalis" and date "1556" tooled in gilt on spine.

Imperfect: part hiemalis only (gatherings [cross]¹⁰ A-O⁸ P⁴ (P4 blank) a-o⁸ p⁴ A-E⁸).
