Nineteenth-century polished calf over boards, sewn on four supports; large decorative blind-stamped centre-pieces and decorative borders on both boards. Spine gilt, with 5 panels: 2nd and 4th have title in gilt: Common Prayer and 1617; other panels have blind-stamped design of "IHS" and cross. Blue silk book-mark.

Imperfect: leaf B4 of The Psalter has fore-edge torn away, with loss of text; repaired and text inserted in quasi-facsimile (late 17th or early 18th century?). Annotation on B5r showing what needed to be inserted on upper part of B4r.
