16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards, repaired (20th-century) and given new endleaves; blind fillets forming two concentric rectangular frames on boards, with gilt stamps at outer corners of inner frame, and central blind (originally gilt?) stamp; spine with four raised bands, blind fillets, and blind hatching; evidence of two ties at fore-edge; pressmark in ink on fore-edge: A23.
