16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards edges of boards, with blind oval centrepiece stamp; spine (repaired) with four raised bands, gilt horizontal fillets, spine label with "Camerarius in Quat: Evang:", and "1572" in gilt; text block edges stained blue-green; pressmark O8 in ink on fore-edge; remains of two ties at fore-edge.
