16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards edges of boards, with blind blank cartouche centrepiece stamp; spine with four raised band and blind horizontal fillets; title in ink on fore-edge; pressmark B15 in ink on fore-edge; remains of two brown textile ties at fore-edge; parchment manuscript waste used as endleaf guards (identified by Selwyn as fragments from a 13th-century English antiphoner).
