16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; spine repaired; sewn on four supports; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, with central blind stamp (blind cartouche); spine (repaired) with four raised bands, later gilt fillets, spine label with author and title, and "1567" in gilt on repaired foot; evodemce of two ties at fore-edge; title in ink on fore-edge; pressmark A28 on fore-edge; pastedowns replaced.
