Late 17th- or early 18th-century mottled brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; blind fillets and roll forming two concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at outer corners of inner frame, and additional vertical roll at spine edge; spine with four raised bands, blind stamps, later gilt fillets, red leather spine label with "Haymon: Com: in D: Paul: Epist:", and 1531 in gilt at foot; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
