ESTC reports that in this issue there is a note at foot of title page: "This book may be had with or without the ordination service" and the price is "7s. 6d". Griiffiths's Bibliography of the Book of Common Prayer gives an additional (alternative) price of "4/6d", and identifiies the ordination service as "36 p. printed on the *asterisked gatherings". In the copy in hand these gatherings are not present.

Late 19th-century red straight-grained grained goatskin, gilt fillets forming two concentric rectangular frame on boards, with gilt tooling at inner corners of inner frame; smooth spine with gilt tooling; gilt roll around board edges; gilt roll on turn-ins; blue endleaves.
