16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; repaired Sept 1937 and July 1947; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, with blind centrepiece stamp (blank cartouche); spine with four raised bands, and author, title and date in gilt (20th-century); evidence of two pairs of ties at fore-edge; titles in ink on fore-edge; pressmark B10 on fore-edge.
