16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; repaired September 1937; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, with blind cartouche stamp in centre; spine with four raised bands, and title, author, and date in gilt (20th-century?); evidence of two pairs of ties at fore-edge; title and shelfmark (G7) in ink on fore-edge.
