[iii]); "In 1853 the Cambrian Archæological Association visited Brecon, and I am permitted by Mr. Freeman to make use of the ... paper which appeared in the journal of the Association in the following year" (page [16]) [that paper being: Freeman, Edward A., "The churches of Brecon" in Archæologia Cambrensis. Vol. 5, new series. No. 19, July, 1854, pages [149]-181].
