Provenance

On the verso of the final leaf of v. 3 is the following cropped annotation, in a 17th-century hand: "[...] I will a lowe you againe for thes. 2 Books of Scot. Senten. of ye. 1.2.3 of ye Sentens. in any other books, at any time six shillings & six pens, as cheap as any man shall Peter Scarlet".

Late 17th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on five supports; blind fillets forming two concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at inner and outer corners of inner frame; spine with five raised bands, blind rolls at head and tail, and later horizontal gilt fillets; blind roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red; leather spine label with "Duns Scotus".
