Stab-stitched, with beige paper wrapper. An excerpt from a bookseller's catalogue, for a 1641 edition of Newes from Ipswich has been pasted to the upper cover. "Newes from Ipswich" is written in ink on the upper cover.

Loose inside: a note in the hand of Christopher Wordsworth about the font in 1662. The note was transferred to the Cathedral Archive in April 2021, where it has the reference DA/3/1/5/1/30.
