17th-century dark brown leather over paper boards; sewn on four supports; rebacked and repaired (20th-century?); blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, with additional vertical blind fillets towards spine edge, with blind acorn-shaped stamps at inner corners; spine with four raised bands and blind fillets; gilt roll around board edges (faded); text block edges stained brown; later endleaves.
