German? 16th-century brown calf over wooden boards; sewn on three cord supports; blind fillets and rolls (with images of saints) forming concentric rectangular frames, with two vertical blind rolls with images from the Bible in the centre; spine with three raised bands and blind horizontal fillets; "Agenda" and "Pars I" tooled in gilt on upper board; remains of clasps running from lower to upper board; printed waste used as spine lining.
