Salisbury Cathedral Library bookplate (19th century) with 13th-century Dean and Chapter seal and inscription “Sarum Cathedral Library.”

16th-century reddish-brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four tawed leather thongs; boards decorated with blind fillets and rolls forming concentric frames (roll is Oldham DI.e(2) 611); spine with four raised bands and blind fillets; remains of green ties; parchment manuscript waste used as endleaf guards (Selwyn suggests that these are strips from a 13th-century mathematical manuscript).
