16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on three tawed leather supports; boards decorated with blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, and with blind ornament at centre of boards; spine with three raised bands; printed waste (English) used as endleaves; parchment manuscript waste used as endleaf guards; evidence of two pairs of ties at fore-edge.
