16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on five supports; repaired and rebacked Sept. 1939; boards decorated with blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, and blind centrepiece stamp; new spine with reused spine label: "L'agriculture" and date 1583.
