Richard Mills (1798-1870) worked in partnership with Christopher Lonsdale (1795-1877) until 29 October, 1834 when their partnership was dissolved. Thereafter they traded separately, therefore, this print must post-date 29 October, 1834.

William Price Aylward (ca. 1811-1890), musician and music seller of Salisbury, was in business as a music seller by 19th June, 1834, as is recorded at the time of the baptism of his first child. His business was located at premises on New Canal by or before 1839; see: Robson's Directory for that year.

Inscription, in ink, at head of title page: "J. E. Cother" [Jane Elizabeth Cother]. Jane Elizabeth Cother (ca. 1818-1899) married Charles William Corfe (1814-1883) on 7th July, 1842. Following C. W. Corfe's death, she married George Thomas Miles on 22nd January, 1885. As Jane Elizabeth Miles, she died on 29th April, 1899, aged 81.
