Thomas Francis Millar is recorded as residing at no. 3, Edward Street, Bath at the end of 1837 (see: The Bath Chronicle, December 21, 1837, page [2]), in 1841 (according to the census of that year), and in 1842 (see: Pigot's Directory for 1842). He had previously resided at 2 Bridge Street, Bath (see: Pigot's Directory for 1830). By 1845 he had moved to 13, Old Sydney Place, Bath; see: The Tablet, vol. VI, no. 280, September 13, 1845, page 581 wherein is printed a letter from "T. F. Millar, teacher of singing, and director of the choir at the Catholic Chapel, Bath". Declared bankrupt in 1852, he subsequently resided at 60, Lord Street, Birkenhead. He died, aged 67, on 12th June, 1868 at Haydock Lodge Asylum for the Insane.

One of a large collection of music prints bound together. Many of these prints bear the signature: J. E. Cother [Jane Elizabeth Cother]. Jane Elizabeth Cother (ca. 1818-1899) married Charles William Corfe (1814-1883) on 7th July, 1842. Following C. W. Corfe's death, she married George Thomas Miles on 22nd January, 1885. As Jane Elizabeth Miles, she died on 29th April, 1899, aged 81.
