20th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; boards decorated with blind fillet and roll forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards; spine with three raised bands, and blind fillets; new endleaves, with earlier endleaves of parchment manuscript waste retained; titles tooled on spine in gilt; "1640" tooled in gilt at tail of spine, which is not the printing date of either of the two works that are bound together.
