Two of the folded leaves of plates make up a map of the world using a projection by Daniel Angelocrator, with title "Novum orbis terrarum schema, in plano sic descriptum, ut graduum tum circa polos dilatatio tum circa æquatorem coarctatio excludatur, ad inventum Daniele Angelocratore. Sumendo principium longitudinis sequitur Nic. Geilekerck". Another two leaves form another map of the world, with title: "Alterum schema orbis in plano depingendi".

17th-century parchment over paper boards; sewn on four supports; boards decorated with a single blind fillet forming a rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards; smooth spine.
