No. [blank]”. “Thomas” added in manuscript in gap before “Freke”. “384” added in manuscript in gap following “No”. Part of the Gillingham Parochial Library, bequeathed to the vicar and feoffees of the parish lands of Gillingham by Thomas Freke (d. 1718?), and placed on permanent loan in Salisbury Cathedral Library 25 November 1992. "CC4" inscribed on front flyleaf; spine label with "62". Gillingham reference CC4/384/62.

17th-century mottled and plain calf; sewn on four supports; blind fillets and rolls on boards, forming three rectangular frames with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; gilt tooling on spine; raised bands; spine label with title; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
