18th-century plain and mottled calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on five supports; blind fillets forming three concentric rectangles on boards with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; 18th- century gilt tooling on spine; raised bands; sewn endbands; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
