18th-century mottled and plain brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on five supports; blind fillets on boards forming three concentric rectangular frames with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; remains of spine with gilt tooling and raised bands; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
