17-century mottled and plain brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on three supports; blind fillets and roll forming three concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; gilt tooling on spine; raised bands; spine label with title; text block edges sprinkled red.
