Note

The epistle to the reader is dated: "Dabam Mantuae Carpetanorum pridie idus septembris anno Domini MDCCCXXI. Franciscus Antonius Çonzalez, Publicae Matritensis Bibliothecae praefectus". The surname of the Praefectus of the public library is spelt 'Çonzalez', with a cedilla, rather than 'Gonzalez'.

Note

The second part has separate title page dated 1821: 'Epistolae decretales ac rescripta Romanorum pontificum. Matriti ex typographia haeredum D. Joachimi de Ibarra anno Domini MDCCCXXI'. This is followed by an index to both parts.

Note

The main title page is dated Anno Domini MDCCCVIII. and gives the printer simply as 'Ex Typographia Regia.' The date 1821 and the name of the heirs of Joachim de Ibarra appear only on the title page of the second part.

"Ecclesiae B.V.M." added in manuscript in gap between “Bibliothecae” and "Sarisbvriensis".
