Georg Augener was born on 25th April, 1830 in the Electorate of Hesse Cassel; thence he came to England, disembarking at the Port of London on 5th August, 1852; the Universal Circulating Musical Library of Augener and Co. (late G. Scheurmann) was active at 86, Newgate Street and at 4A, Tottenham Court Road by February 1859 (see: The Daily News, February 19, 1859, page [1]); George Peter William Augener died on 25th August, 1915.

Theodore Victor Giubilei died in New York on 6th December, 1851.
