17th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four tawed leather supports; boards decorated with blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, spine with four raised bands and blind fillets; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges heavily sprinkled red (very faded on fore-edge).
