17th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on three tawed leather supports; evidence of earlier stab-stitching; boards decorated with blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards; smooth spine with blind fillets; blind fillet around board edges; blind hatching on tail edge of boards; text block edges sprinkled red and blue; printed waste used as endleaves; evidence of chain-plate on lower board.
