17th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four tawed leather supports; boards decorated with blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards; spine with four raised bands, blind hatching at head and tail, and gilt fillets; blind hatching on board edges adjacent to spine; blind fillet around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red; leather spine label with title; date 1647 tooled in gilt at tail of spine.

Endleaves appear to be paper manuscript waste, as they contain annotations, including financial accounts, some of which are dated January 1636 (i.e. 1637).
