17th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on three tawed leather supports; boards decorated with blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, with additional vertical blind fillet towards spine, and blind fleuron stamps at inner corners; spine with three raised bands and gilt fillets; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red; tan leather spine label with title; date in gilt at tail of spine.
