No. [blank]”. “Thomas” added in manuscript in gap before “Freke”. “327” added in manuscript in gap following “No”. Part of the Gillingham Parochial Library, bequeathed to the vicar and feoffees of the parish lands of Gillingham by Thomas Freke (d. 1718?), and placed on permanent loan in Salisbury Cathedral Library 25 November 1992. "I3" inscribed on front flyleaf. Spine label with "228". Gillingham reference I2/327/237.

18th-century mottled and plain brown calf over rope-fibre boards (cover missing from upper board); sewn on six supports; blind fillets forming three concentric rectangular frames on boards with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; six raised bands; gilt tooling on spine; paper spine label with title; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
