18th-century mottled and plain brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on five supports; blind fillets forming three concentric rectangular frames on boards, wih blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; gilt tooling on spine; raised bands; title in blind stamped letters (originally gilt-stamped?) on spine; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
