17th-century sprinkled and plain brown calf over rope fibre boards; sewn on five supports; four supports laced into the boards; blind fillets and rolls forming three rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; raised bands; gilt tooling on spine; paper spine label with title; text block edges sprinkled red.
