Part of the Gillingham Parochial Library, bequeathed to the vicar and feoffees of the parish lands of Gillingham, Dorset by Thomas Freke (d. 1718?), and placed on permanent loan in Salisbury Cathedral Library 25 November 1992. 17th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on five supports; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards board edges with additional blind fillet towards spine edge and blind roll at spine edge; raised bands; blind fillets on spine; paper spine label with title; gilt fillet around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
