18th-century sprinkled brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on five supports; only three supports laced into the boards; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards edges of boards, with vertical blind roll at spine edge; five raised bands; gilt tooling on spine; paper spine label with title; text block edges sprinkled red.
