Part of the Gillingham Parochial Library, bequeathed to the vicar and feoffees of the parish lands of Gillingham, Dorset by Thomas Freke (d. 1718?), and placed on permanent loan in Salisbury Cathedral Library 25 November 1992. Spine label with "168". Gillingham reference -/L/168.

17th-century sprinkled brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on four alum-tawed thongs; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards edges of boards; with addition vertical blind fillets towards spine edge; four raised bands; paper spine label with title; blind roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
