17th-century sprinkled and plain brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on five supports (four supports laced into boards); blind fillets and rolls forming three concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; five raised bands; gilt tooling on spine; paper spine label with title; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
