18th-century mottled and plain dark brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on five supports (four laced into boards); blind fillets and rolls forming three concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; five raised bands; gilt tooling on spine; remains of paper spine labels with title; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
