First published without imprint in Kolozsvár, Transylvania (now Cluj, Romania), by the Heltai Press in 1598. Adams E189 appears to confuse the two editions. The Cluj (1598) edition has the device of Gáspár Heltai on the title page, with motto: Ex bello pax ex pace vbertas, and has the signatures (a)⁴ A-Z⁸ Aa-Ee⁸ Ff⁴ (-Ff4?).
